October 18, 2023: BYOB BAGELS has been instrumental in guiding Concern Housing build the first non-profit bagel shop in the Surf Vets complex in Coney Island which will provide employment opportunities to veterans who have experienced homelessness. Concern Housing is a non-profit agency committed to helping individuals and families to live in the community with dignity and enhanced opportunities through the provision of housing and support services.

The article highlights the unique delicious bagels that Beth George teaches in her consulting to dozens of clients around the world. The article also features a special project in Coney Island in which BYOB BAGELS is collaborating with Concern for Independent Living to build a bagel shop in the Surf Vets building with the plan to create job opportunities for residents, including formerly homeless veterans.
